Luego de que se conociera la noticia de la salida inesperada de Lady Gaga de los "MTV Video Music Awards 2013" por los abucheos a la banda One Direction, dos de sus miembros utilizaron su Twitter para dirigirse a ella.
Liam Payne y Louis Tomlinson tuvieron la oportunidad de agradecer las hermosas palabras emitidas por Mother Monster en el detrás de escena, luego del lamentable suceso ocurrido en la ceremonia:
